Hi! I am a 50-something year old believer in Christ. I'm happily married to Chris, the man of my dreams and the mother of 3; Eric, Brittney and Michael, 1 daughter-in-law, Ashley (married to Eric) In April 2011 Brittney gave us our first grandchild, Carmen and in December 2016, our 5th grandchild, Camilla. They are both so precious! In October 2012 Eric and Ashley gave us our second grandchild-first grandson, Moses. They also gave us our third and fourth grandchildren-both boys; Lyric and Bravery. They are all pretty awesome if you ask me! I have goals of conducting seminars across the U.S. on how to live as the person God created you to be. I hope you enjoy the blog and it helps you in your journey!

I have been sick since 10/29/2010.  My symptoms are wheezing, coughing, and stuffy sinuses.  I have been seeing our chiropractor since Monday, Nov 1, 2010.  She has been treating me mostly for allergies.  We thought the majority of the problems were coming from the cedar trees in our yard and neighborhood.

Today I'm feeling much better but felt I needed to go to for an adjustment and treatment.  I was wheezing all the way to the office but wanted her to be able to get an accurate test so, I did not want to use the inhaler.

I told her I didn't feel I was getting any relief for my sinuses.  She said this is probably yeast related and tested me again for yeast and gluten.  The results were......the yeast problem is back and in full force.  This is always diet related.  When yeast is overgrown I should avoid foods that cause the yeast to grow, mainly carbs and dairy.

She uses LASER to clear my body of the allergy reaction and stimulate the cell healing.  She began treating me and I had started calming down and could breathe easier and thought of my lunch.  I had packed pork loin with brown sugar in the rub, a sweet potato, corn on the cob, a pear, some butter and some walnuts; lots of carbs.  It made me curious so I asked her to test me on my lunch.

I brought the lunch in from the car.  She had me hold the bag with all the food up to my body while she performed the test.  I tested weak.  So, she began testing me on each item individually.  By the time she got to the walnuts, I was wheezing almost uncontrollably.  She seemed surprised at how the walnuts were affecting me just by being close to them.

I have been eating walnuts everyday and particularly at night.  We discussed last week how the wheezing gets so bad at night but we couldn't really figure out what it might be.  Well, today we found it, walnuts!  I was also sensitive to corn and sugar (items Candida patients should stay away from).  The sweet potato, pear and pork were fine.  WOW!!  I had been poisoning my body with what I was eating - no wonder I couldn't get well.

So, for lunch, I enjoyed pork loin, sweet potato and a pear. This day I continue my journey to learn what my body needs for optimal health.
